I understand what you're saying... There is no correlation between bad service and what you pay. I also did not post to start up an argument. I named the forum that because the first comment on the video is:

"Yeah...keep hiring the CHEAPEST DJ and this is what you get! This is what happens when you CHEAP OUT on the ENTERTAINMENT for your BIGGEST DAY.... Hire PROFESSIONAL DJ ENTERTAINERS who customize and make the party about YOU, the BRIDE & GROOM! NOT THAT IDIOT HERE!"

Just did the same search and found this one .. This takes the cake .. check it out midway:

Yeah, that's the best, lol!

DJ Zen

If you post something on a DJ Chat board there is always going to be someone to start a argument....That's the nature of the beast.

I appreciate your post for what it is ......A post by a DJ that started some conversation and banter between DJs on a Chat Board. After all who wants a DJ Chat board that has no conversation on it or all DJs complying in one way.

All I can say is if you have more.....Bring em.

By the way as i study the Bride and Groom it's really hard to say if they didn't ask the DJ to perform his special dance since he might be a friend of theirs or they have seen him do it before. You might actually say the B/G seem to be getting enjoyment from it.

We had that example on here before! LOL

Rule Numero Uno: Never go negative. Forget about what the other guy brings to the table. You need to show your value. Not long ago a bride asked me "I can get DJ xxxx from Craigslist for a third of your price. What did I do? I asked if this person would bring the same service and quality as I would ans I described what Gail and I would do for her wedding. She booked with us. Wedding is the Saturday of Labor day weekend. We contracted for our full price.

Best,

Paul

I agree Paul - totally. I've done the same and had positive results.

PS - If their answer is yes, then wish them the best of luck. Leave it on good terms.
