    Question for Ben or anyone

SKB & Ultimate are the same way. Amazing customer service... Wish GE was like that... Bought a portable dishwasher for $100 on craig's list... So far it's cost me $50 on different parts to replace the busted faucet adapter since every time I call, they give me a different part number!

Blew a sub last night - need input on a replacement

At this point, I'm a little confused about two things... 1 - How did you match the amp to the speaker driver? You've got to look at the resistance (4 or 8 ohms) as well as the power (wattage) somewhat higher than PEAK, not program or continious. If your amp cant drive clean power up to...

    Using A Crossover?

Anyone using the DBX DriveRack? I've been thinking about it for a while... just not sure how tough it is to get setup right and rung out for every gig

    Using A Crossover?

If the ac22s was affordable at the time I bought my mx-22, I would have bought it in a second just for that delay knob. Imagine a xover that can help solve phasing issues caused by poor speaker placement?

    Using A Crossover?

I use a RANE Mojo MX-22. It's simple, extremely reliable and more than anything else - it's all Balanced XLR connectors. I used to use a DOD crossover that sounded good, and was also rock solid, but it was all 1/4 balanced connectors so in an emergency I had a very finite number of...

What kind of things do you need to think about when hauling a trailer, engine, tranny and suspension wise?

Gear Haulers - Your Pics go HERE!

Well, I have a gig thats gonna take me into a 7 hour drive from NT to VT with a full sound and light show - all the way down to a dry ice fogger. It's family so they have to be treated right... but its gonna be a trip getting there... So... Normally I haul gear in my 2000 Mazda MPV which...

    What's That Smoke?

And while you're at it spend the $10 for a tire plug kit. If the tire's not completely gone - you can plug it and inflate with a mini cigarette compressor until you can safely evaluate the situation and get to help or your gig.

    Joining in the fun

Ryan - Nice to have you aboard! After seeing Cam's comments, I'd like to voice some observations. Its probbaly not gonna be liked - but they are honest, and I hope it will make not only MB better - but take what we have been doing online for years to the next level: 1- The industry...

    New Speakers!

Congrats on the new speakers! I know what you're talking about mixing the powered tops and passive subs... I'm still running Eon G2s for tops and B-52 BP18 & a JBM JRX118 for subs. Crazy lugging around 2 100 pound subs PLUS 40 pound amps! On the positive note - because the subs are...

    Denon DN-X500 Mixer Volume Question?

I've never experienced really hot signal from a notebook except maybe through my Rane SL3. The ASIO card in the 2500 is pretty good itself, too. Turtle Beach, Gigaport or even my new maya44 usb cards do require some playing between the gains on the PC, app and mixer to find their sweet spot...

Any suggestions on what might be wrong?

First off - Using a y connect cuts the line level input making all the amps have to work way too hard. 2nd - You only have one sub - so you need to mono sum it 3rd - using a y-cable is sending the sub full-range when it only wants to see 40-180hz All of this says - buy an active crossover.

    New - Denon DN-MC6000

Looks like Denon's answer to the ADJ VMS4, huh? Still don't understand why Denon & ADJ put the pitch sliders in the wrong place... same contract manfacturer maybe?
