Now I remember why DJ Flex was in my mind when I thought of "Let Me Clear My Throat", I used to play a set with LMCMT and the Water Dance which was DJ Flex.

D.J. Kool also has a version of "It Takes Two." I find myself using it, because while it's familiar, it's "fresher" than the Rob Base version (to me), loaded with old school samples, lots of audience hype, and the unmistakeable vocal of Fatman Scoop.
 
It takes Too by DJ Kool and Fatman Scoop was also recorded live at Bahama Bay in Philadelphia along with Rob Base and a whole assortment of old school rap artists.

I did not know that... now I have to go find a copy, as I love DJ Kool's Let Me Clear My Throat.....

Looking on amazon, they call it "It Takes Scoop"..... excellent for 99 cents!
