Vegas Room Deals...

Damn...that's some low prices! Although I haven't been to Vegas in awhile I would recommend the Excaliber over Circus Circus...I heard the latter was quite a dump now.... :sqfrown:
 
I have stayed at Circus Circus a number of times they always take good care of us. The rate for 7 days for convention is $500. Last year I payed $530 for a suite.

We still haven't decided if we are going this year. If we do we will be staying on Freemont downtown for the better payouts.

NOT a fan of Circus Circus....

Since they have allowed those Tahiti Village people.... (que Macho Man) the irritation level went to 10! These people follow you and wont let go! Its like walking around in an aggressive car dealer lot. If you ignore them, they get MORE aggressive. We had a lady follow us from the registration desk to the elevators. When we came down for dinner, she found us again, after repeated no thank yous kept following us. She was like the fricken Time Share Terminator. It got so bad after the third day, we complained to hotel management, they didn't care.

Rooms are ok.....
Too many kids....
Buffet is marginal....

But thats just my opinion....your harassment may vary...

For the DJ convention it is the Riviera... right across the street from CC.
 
Looks like I'm at the C/C for the week. I am probably in the room in Vegas less than 6 hrs a day...I just clean and quite for those 6 hrs. I think I will do downtown on Sunday night....I like it down there anyway. Closer to shrimp cocktails!!!!

So Steve...are you making a return to sin city this time? Hope to see you there, dude!!!
 
I was just in Vegas last week. Tahiti Village people are everywhere, I ran into at just about every hotel. If it wasn't TV then it was some other Time Share. I stayed Circus Circus a 2 years ago the room was nice & comfortable. The Buffet was OK. Now & then there were are a lot of Kids but I didn't mind except there was a long line at check in. I guess it was winter break for the kids. This time I stayed at the Trop, (I don't recommend). I hit the Buffet at the Excalibur, I like it, they had to roll me out. Circus Circus is right diag to the Riveria so its a very short walk. If you take the Duce (bus) its very crowded at times & takes forever to get up/down the strip when crowded. $2 one way or $5 all day. Also The Star Trek Experienceis gone. I found out right before I left home.

You all need to stay at the Luxor that is a great hotel I stayed there about 6 years ago but it is a great hotel.
