It is a milestone number (65) chronologically. Admittedly, I am having some minor emotional issues with this one, being the statistician and semi-realist I try to be. The majority of the mental imagery of it is my recollection of what 65 seemed like way back when. View attachment ani-mini-sad.gif

At 21...immortal;
At 40...immortal with some caveats;
At 50...partially mortal with more caveats;
At 60...mortal, lots of caveats and what is this Social Security thing all about?

But I'm still buying the green bananas, and even though there are rocks in driveway younger than me, I kin still put a whoopin' on summa yur asses.

Now looking ahead for this week, a Holiday Party to attend tonight (my wife is driving and I am Absolut-ly having a few [dozen]), working a Christmas party tomorrow afternoon, league bowling Thursday night, a 50th Anniversary Friday night, a 600 person Holiday Party Saturday night, and a Wedding Sunday (90% Russian music and music videos). I guess I'll be the oldest, tiredest guy in the bank deposit line Monday.

I wouldn't be surprised. Reagan-omics and Bush-clone blew up my SEPs and IRAs, Clinton wasted the savings and loan landscape, so Obama might as well finish me off.
 
Best wishes for a happy birthday. For 65 you look damn good. Don't listen to Rick, he wants you to start smoking again because misery loves company. It's been a year for me and I don't even thing about them anymore.
