Partytime, where in central america are you? Tambien hacen la hora loca por alla? I noticed all the hats, necklaces, etc...

I'm in Guatemala City, we offer the those props or "animation accesories" as a standard bundle on every party event. With "la hora loca" you mean like a game during the party? We just give the props on the moments when the fun is at its pinnacle (and only to the people who are dancing).

Hey Party time I am your ODJT phone guy and love to phone our new members even more excited to phone our international DJs especially with it growing nicely. PM your number and I can give you the official ODJT phone call. I likely have phoned at least half the membership. Heck I invited alot of them as well. Welcome to the site we love learning new music especially for me Central and south American music.

I know this is for DJ setups, but I love sharing photos of stuff. I don't have any REALLY good ones of my speakers, but they are in there somewhere.

If it helps, I did provide sound for Sid, the DJ from slipknot, a couple times!

The photo below shows the 2 stacks of Dynacord XA2 system as sidefills for Gwar.

The next one has a closeup of one of the stacks on the right side of the photo.
You can also see that my floor monitors are covered in plastic.
If you need to know about that, check out a GWAR show on youtube.

This one shows some of my light show at this time. I'm working on getting some movers. the movers in the above photos aren't mine.

Here's a setup I did at a music store where I actually did DJ...sort of.
Michael Angelo Batio did a guitar clinic, and I had a CD with his tracks I had to play for him.

And yes, he plays that guitar with both hands at the same time!
Check it out here if you wish: YouTube - Michael Angelo Batio Double-Guitar Solo

I've seen Gwar live twice and I wouldn't recommend wearing anything nice let alone not covering your speakers.
Michael Angelo Batio is a great shredder but musically his chops leave a lot to be desired.

young...

The Gwar guys were perfect gentlemen to work with. They showed me how to cover the floor monitors properly, and told me that the sidefills were safe as they are very careful where they aim their fluids.

Michael Angelo Batio was another one that was a pleasure to work with. No issues at all, and he and the Dean representative that was with him took us all to Outback for dinner after the show. His Shredding is amazing, as for the music, I find it relaxing personally just to listen to in the background.

Hi,
What I quoted from your first message is what Kris was referring to, not the equipment.

First of all nice practice area... no knockin' how you roll at home.... I'm sure considering even at home you have a drape covering your back wall that once in the club you'll clean up even more... so kudos on that.

Second, I might sugest starting a separate thread about your RMX issues...

Include in the topic:

1. Operating system
2. PC specs
3. DJ Software used
4. How you are connecting the mic
5. How you are connecting the RMX
6. How it is currently configured in your DJ Software.

Be as concise as possible.

Those things will give us a better picture of what you problem may be. Steve's a good guy.... and he's a very busy guy... give him a chance.

Oh and welcome to the board.

well i dont think what i said needed the snyde remark an puke face....

I'm just saying, coming onto the boards, typing like you're drunk and calling out a regular isn't the way I would approach my 2nd post ever :sqerr::sqerr::sqerr::sqerr:

I'm just playin' man. I hope you stick around this place...no better way to learn the ropes than from all these pro's willing to share advice.

Good luck.
