I bought this jar just over 3 yrs ago and have been dropping my change in it, on the daily, when I get home from work. It was designated the Europe non-bugeted play money. We decided to go cash it in today! How much do you think it was? You will win absolutely nothing, but I thought it would be fun to throw it out there. I will post the $$$ in a few days!!!

What was the highest bid Bob??? $576 :D:D:D:D:D:D:D

Well being a change saver too by looking at that bottle I would guess about $900.

In Canada we have $1 and $2 coins it doesn't take long to hit a grand if you are a regular saver

You didn't state the size of the jar. If it's the bottle in the pic, I'd go with $1875.00

If it's one of those big mayo jars, I've gotten well over $600 in dimes and quarters in one...

BTW- I use one for pennies and nickels, and one for dimes, quarters, and higher.

Shore money...

OK Fess up Eddie how much?

Let's do the math....

3 years.... 156 weeks x 5 days a week= 760 days. (You did say after work).

Average of 50 cents per day... $380.

If you did it every day - that would be 365*3=1095, or $547.50.

However, based on a couple things... including the type of work you do, and other factors that could play a MAJOR difference in the amount... For example, if you never spend any change - always breaking a bill instead - or worked in a tipped job where you could get lots of change, particularly quarters (as a bartender for example), etc.

Given your tone, the size of the jar, etc - I'd guess about $1100.
