If this is your first time being requested one, would it then be better to just rent one? You can get a feel for it and if you do have to buy one in the future you have the experience.

Okay first of all how big is the room and the size of the crowd. I do a bash with 170 people in a elementary school gym sized room Ukrainian Hall. I purchase the disposable cannon for this event as it is the only one I am allowed to use one in. They cost around 60 bucks or a bit less depending on where you get them. They work great but make sure to get the quality one in a pinch and make sure you read instructions carefully. I bring two in case of a dud.

low tech

Gotta leaf blower? We did this once for NYE, got a electric leaf blower/vac and dumped a bunch of cofettii in a somewhat large, lol rubber-made container.......... Man that sucked out and threw out confetti everywhere...worked great! There was confetti stuck to the walls and ceiling for 6 months after word. We would DJ there and still see it.

When ever we do such a thing, confetti, TP shooter, we totally OK it with the owner and let them know how messy its gonna be thats for sure!

Just one main question NO one asks

who is cleaning up after the show ?
who are you hiring to clean up the confetti after its all over ?

my mate years ago got hit with a $700 cleanup bill

I dont supply them now days as after he was hit I was told by other venues the same thing - whos cleaning up the mess after ?
