i was setting up for a prom last week , Ive been to this place before so i knew where to set up, the guys where putting the table cloths on and setting the tables, i have made 3 trips in with equipment and I'm starting to set things up when i hear the girls in the kitchen talking as they come walking out from the kitchen the one says something about a vibrator and partying last night they look to there left and see me ill bet they didn't know i was there they looked a little shocked, i said to them don't worry Ive heard worst, i told the one girl she need not bring here vibrator tonight just stand in front of my bass speakers

In my case is what has been found in purses in the ER :D:D:D:D:D

strangest thing I have heard................................

An adult older DJ telling a High School Girl at her Prom.............

"You neednt bring your VIBRATOR tonite just stand in front of my BASS speakers."

strangest/most irresponsible thing I have heard................................

An adult older DJ telling a High School Girl at her Prom.............

"You needn't bring your VIBRATOR tonight just stand in front of my BASS speakers."

P.S. Any comment would have been irresponsible.

Was it Ricky???? ;)

Maybe we should ask for clarification if it was a prom attendee before we assume it? I see nowhere in that post about it was the Prom attendees. I don't know that I would have responded in either case but let's not assume it was high school girls.

While eating my Cinnabon at the mall one girl says to her friend
I like the feel of warm icing on my face
while looking at me. I droped the pastry and if i was not black I would be red faced....

if it were an adult kitchen help she would not likely be stirring her oats out on the dancefloor in front of the Bass Speakers around the responsible kids attending the dance.

JT - all he said was that they came walking out of the kitchen. This could have been anyone. To assume it was a high school girl is wrong. It could have been, but to assume it is wrong. Let's not put the cart before the horse. I agree that if it was help, they wouldn't be there 'tonight' however depending on where this was held, the wait staff does hang around. Don't assume anything. Let RHDJ answer it.

The strangest thing I've ever heard (other than one of JTV's late night/early morning calls) -- was when I was working this gig on a private cruise on a boat. It was a corporate party, and this totally drunk chick asked me to play a song, so she could seduce her boss into the bathroom (boss was female too).

It was only a 70 foot boat, so the bathroom door was in view of the party. So, I played the tune, and sure enough, she dragged her boss into the bathroom.

Being the nice guy I am, I mentioned to one of the weenie guys who had been hanging around my setup all night, that there was some action happening in the ladies room. He was pretty drunk too, so he went and opened the door -- SURPRISE! :D

Although many of those folks probably lost their jobs the next Monday morning -- I found it entertaining... :)

okay haha it was an attempt at humor. Depending on perception it could look good or bad. One needs to be careful though what one says ( which of course is only acceptable in a DJ forum) perhaps the girl was the admin who hired your services' wife and mentioned in a casual way to him later could come back to bite ones future potential. I would have held back making such a comment even though likely would have been thinking something similar. If in fact Redhot was an acquaintance, perhaps the comment would have been common conversation.

and on occasion the comment being of utmost STRANGE! NO COMMENT!!! Thanks Dennis! Have A Nice Day. Glad to see you around once again. Also happy to see the hospital visit returned you to your former self.

first i never said high school girls it was the kitchen staff thats why they walked out of the kitchen, they both were hot and in there 20s
they started the conversation i ended it with what i said and we all laughed . Come on guys get your minds out of the gutter i would not have said that to a high school girl

That was not as clear as you think.

Regardless, overhearing a private conversation is not an invitation to comment or participation.

Had they said, "Yo DJ, ...." then your comment would be responsive and warranted. Otherwise you were butting in with your vulgar input. I can easily imagine a negative and potentially incendiary circumstance if the GM of a venue or the boyfriend/brother/friend of one of the rather loose lipped "girls" had "overheard" your comment.

I appreciate comedic vulgarity as much as the next guy, but there is a time and place. Your mistake was in that aspect, wrong time, wrong place.
