tip to having a friend do the wedding planner rather than a professional or listening to a DJ, everything gets backed up,, Sat nite a friend of the brides was "director" she promptly told me she had never done it, ok so I try to help , ok we make the intros and get thru it fine, we do the dance a little later, ok heres where i tried to use what knowledge I had consumed over the last 30 years, once they got their plates I told them after they had finished eating we should cut the cake, she said she wanted to wait, then wannabe planner says they want to cut cake, i make announcement as to such, start playing Frank's Love & marriage, they go nowhere near the cake, groom comes over after a song or so, and says can we pick it up a tad , like Electric Slide, still no cake, planner,bride,groom were never on same page,, point being said a pro planner or even me the DJ, should have stressed the cake needs to be cut at XX time now, garter XX time ,, ok on to next gig,,
But it's a good start... hopefully someone will appreciate it.
