Yea, but it looks like it only works with Caribbean and Christmas music ...

Controllers can kick rocks. I had my eye on the latest Pioneer but after hearing that it froze up a few times at events. I had second thoughts. I'm sticking to what works best for me. Old fashioned turntables and cdj's.

Use what you want but I happen to love my Denon DN MC 6000 controller. I'm not sure if the controller had to do with freezing up. That sounds like an issue with the laptop. Maybe the laptop isn't fast enough with the software program the DJ is using. That sounds more like it then the controller freezing up.

Controllers are for the mouse and keyboard challenged individuals...
Rick you are very out of touch with the Real DJ World. How many times am I going to tell yer that there is more to life than just Weddings and Bars? Tell me how are you going to scratch with a Mouse or operate two decks simultaneously with a Mouse? BTW there is also more to DJ life than just "Push Play".

I highly doubt that statement.

My software has 313 functions available, that can be mapped to keyboard shortcuts. Why would I spend $800 or so for a controller, when I can do the same thing with my keyboard...?

Less gear to carry, much less money spent, less things to break -- but it doesn't look as cool as all the pretty lights on your controller

When I see your mad skillz on your controller in action, I will rethink my position...

Rick I got a 6 gig memory Acer Aspire connected to the 4 MX Hercules controller. This setup costed 375 and 290 so total before 'taxes in total $665. Ask Trini Dave how great a deal I got and that is a legitimate setup that cost less than the Pioneer or Denon controllers. Hell most computers for my total would have been a steal. I have it in my office right now and it allows me daily mix practice. Maybe once I figure how to video this and record it I will share even though I am not obligated to as my health is in issue at the moment. Ive done three gigs with this setup Like a Champ.
