Guys and Gals I need a little help here. I had a storm come threw a couple months ago, about 20K of damage to my house (4k deductible ouch). One of the things I lost was a very nice 30' flagpole that my wife had put up for me the last time I was in Iraq.

I have replaced the pole, we leave the flag up 24/7 and have had several different solar light that keep it lit, however I am not happy with thier performance or longevity. Is there a spotlight available that I can mount on my house eve, I already have floods on each corner, so the power is there, and I am sure a day/night sensor is avaialble, that will give you a 6 ft light circle at around 60 ft. It can't be a giant and I am willing to spend a few hundred dollars. I would love LED if it will hold up outside.

Thanks ahead of time, me and the wife are flag nuts!!

Were it me, I wouldn't light it from the house or side. I'd put two floods near the base, on either side of the pole, and shoot up. It will make the pole and flag stand out instead of having area around the flag being lit, detracting from the focal piece.

I did not give everyone a full view of the layout, my bad. Flag pole is 60 ft from the house with a very deep concrette drive and park area between, NO way to get electric there without going broke. Thus I want to shoot the spot from an eve corner of the house to the pole, with a day night sensor turning it on/off. I wish I could shoot it up, I am with you on the effect. I just want my flag up 24/7 and I can't do it without light.

Thanks Ray J.

OK everyone. Lets keep it civil. This morning is a bittersweet one for the Country. We have triumphed over evil but we still have the memories of the innocent ones lost and the pain of those who are still being treated for their wounds. Keep that spirit going and lets show some peace and love to each other and not allow things to escalate. Enjoy your weekend.

I will have to settle for the solar junk again. I have paid between $59.00 and $179.00 for solar lights on this flag pole, in the past. Results were poor and I have yet to get one to last more than a year.

Guys, please don't get into a heated battle over my post requesting lighting help on a Flag Pole!!

Thanks Ray J.
