Looks pretty nice. It will be interesting to see the specs, and of course the price will be important too. If it's a little less than a comparable Bose and RCF, it might do well.

I'm intrigued most about the pole with the built in magnetic connection and it carries the signal from the sub to the top

I'm afraid it'll be $1K apiece a the DJ Expo and I'll come home with 2.

JBL Eon One last year was $850 at the show. If EV is sneaking one in, maybe QSC is as well :)

While intriguing, that may be the weak link in the chain. I'm guessing you really need to protect that riser piece...hence the included padded case...

But I am excited about this type of system!
JBL Eon One has the same type of snap together connections .. seems to have held up .. JBL EON ONE

Bose has that as well.

Always good to have options from quality companies.

Ok you've got my attention . what are the specs, Max spl & weight. Will it be in A/cnext week?
Not on the EV site yet ...

Idjnow.com just reposted Brian's video and stated they will be showing them at the DJ Expo floor and EV will show them in a seminar on Monday.

That was my first thought about the wireless connection being the weak link too. I'm wondering if there is an alternate way to plug the speaker in. it's like the model X doors, take something simple make it complicated.

Not wireless .. the connections run down the "sub pole" .. the "clicking" Brian refers to is the mating of the connectors at the top and bottom that also make the physical wire connections.

Wireless meaning no external wire is required is what I'm talk about. Another speaker system (can't remember which one) )does that too were the satellite Mates physically making the audio connection too. I believe I saw it in A/C.

Many do .. JBL Eon One, Bose Compacts, Bose L1, etc.

So for each completed tower, you need only run one power cord and one XLR cable?

Or does that IEC cable handle both?

Need both .. unless you connect to it via Bluetooth ... then you just need power (IEC).

Thinking back in might have been the Eon. Since now I can only lift a limited amount now I am exploring other options replacing one of my EV systems. But for personal reasons I don't use Eons or Bose. I Kind of like the some of the features in the EV system. Especially the Bluetooth/ app. But I really need to see the specs and what it will do outdoors.
