I have four QSC K12s and 2 K8s as well as a sub. I rarely use the sub. I know that I have had many other brands including the Bose EV Mackie etc. etc. and I believe I have found the best speakers I’ve ever had so far in the QSC.
VDJ is creating a do on the root of the drive. It cannot write to NTFS from Mac. That is probs lay what the hang up is. But I would think it would read the existing g database file.
I also have all the DJ apps a too. Serato, tractor, VDJ, Megaseg and on and on. VDJ works excellent on OSX. THEY ALL DO. I have a bit of love hate with megaseg cause of how it imports files slowly but it it rock solid as a DJ program.
If you already have a MBP, just try it. Download DJAY PRO or VDJ free until you decide to buy VDJ PRO. you may even be able to request a Mac Download for same license as your Windows version. If you bought VDJ PRO. I will tell you that you will absolutely love OSX once you get used to it a bit...
I'm a Mac user and may never go back to PC but I can post more than one but crash dump report of a BSD. Macs can and will fail too. If they don't, you wouldn't take two of them with you. PC's are great as well. There are many reasons I like Mac over PC but long life is not one of them. So far...
I also have the latest Megaseg version. It's good for auto play stuff but is horrib
E for importing music. Even on the new MacBook Pro with all it's power and glory. I just have it. That's about it. Sorry Jason.
Zara Radio is great. If you are using a Mac get Nicecast and use any DJ app like Djay, VIRTUALDJ, Megaseg. Works great. Good sound and you can do anything your app can..
