    Do they come to your place, pick up, and drop off? Or do you have to set them up/tear them down too? If the latter, I'd say 10% some extra for your time/gas.

    How do you handle getting paid so close to the event date?

    Normally, my policy is 50% at time of booking, and 50% 7 days prior to the event. I actually ran into a last minute booking not too long ago, where the wedding was 2 weeks away. I required them to pay 100% at time of booking. You really should offer your client the option of paying with CC.

    Try local AV rental companies. Here locally, they run about $24 for a 3" roll. I find 2" is too small to tape multiple cords down, and 4" is just ridiculously big.
