To me it's not the motors, it's the sound of the wind / air being pushed by the rotors. Kinda needed for a rotor machine, I understand, but I find that noise to be annoying.

For gigs booked in 2017 my average round trip is 71 miles. With 7 being the lowest and 168 being the highest. I've gone as far as 260 miles round trip before, but only twice in over 15 years.
