By the way, Do you know where the globally latest hits can be found and by which way? Usually and globally most of the djs exchange songs using p2p programs like Utorrent. I think, such way, is not very secure.

Not only is it unscecure it is also illegal.... at least for us in the US P2P file sharing is illegal. Most here would agree that it is stealing. I'll leave it to you to decide if you still think p2p file sharing is appropriate behavior for a professional DJ to participate in.

For me it's un-cool to steal what is not mine.

Oh no! the can's been open - I am outta HERE!!

Easy tiger.... just making sure our friend here knows what's what when it comes to p2p music sharing.

In the US and Canada there are penalties that can be imposed on individuals as well as companies. These penalties can include but are not limited to monitary sums as well as potential jail time.

Music stealing is a crime even if it seems like a victimless crime someone (the record producers and ultimately the artist themselves are the ones hurt) does get hurt.

While I'm not the morality police by any means... but, even ones conscience should be telling them that sharing (ie stealing) music is wrong.

Actually Rob in Canada it's perfectly legal to download music but it's illegal to share music. The one serving the MP3 is the one with the trouble.

I'm not advocating it just saying....

see thats why I was outta here when that Can opened or should I say ERUPTED!!!

Great and thanks:sqbiggrin:

Concerning the previous discussion, I agree with you!

In cyprus the law says that the royalties (copyright) are paid by the organiser who organised the event. For instance, If is a wedding party and you are going to play DJ music to a room of the hotel or outside to the hotel's pool garden, then the Hotel is responsible for the royalties. The same happens with the disco clubs. The club suffer the royalties.
