My Latest Project.

After one of my Martin Acrobats suffered damage to the mirror I decided to build road cases for my lighting starting with the Martins. All parts, except for the plywood, were purchased from DIY Road Cases.

Next I will be building cases for my moving heads and slim par 38's, then the 10+ laser and centerpiece lights that I have.

Boards are cut, ready for the PVC laminate




Boards laminated, ready for assembly.





Dry fit completed, assembly in process.




Lid, dry fit, mid assembly.



Foam glued in.



Perfect fit!



99% Complete. Nylon lid stays will be installed tomorrow.

1/4" plywood. The inlaws gave me that sign along with the mini beer fridge you can see under the work bench in the last picture. What can I say, they love me.

I like the "Lidmaker" extrusion that DIY carries. Less corner extrusions needed.
