Has anybody tried out the new Light Rider DMX Control Software? It's free software for iPad or Android devices. It touts itself on no programming and ease of control. LIGHT RIDER - THE PRO DJ LIGHTING APP - DMX 512, ARTNET

I wouldn't be against using a tablet (iPad) for controlling my lights if it was really easy. I like FREE too![emoji1] Only thing I don't like is having another little gadget to keep track of and clutter my tabletop. That's why I go to so much effort to get everything wired into one case.[emoji4] I think it's another OCD issue.[emoji4]
I love the simplicity of this app, with the pre programmed scenes....
but obviously cannot use it without the right hardware.
So, what tablet/pad app would you suggest for DMX.
I don't wanna use my laptop.
PS
Don't need color mixing or anything too advanced...
just want to program some scenes/chases/effects

Tablet requires a WiFi DMX portal of some sort .. or .. like the ADJ setup, an ADJ compatible IR device. Right now, the WiFi dongles are expensive .. I would expect them to come down a lot in the near future. The FlareCon Air is reasonable (about $170), but currently only works with their app, which doesn't really handle non-Chauvet products well .. doesn't handle non-Freedom devices well either, so it still needs a lot of development.
