Like John Allo, I am very much anti Hillary ( though I actually liked Bill ). If she is the nominee, then there is no way I can vote democrat. Problem is, that I don't like any of the republican party possible nominees very much, either. But since the party I like - libertarian - has a candidate who has no shot, I don't feel like I can "waste" my vote voting for him.... But having Hillary is what I absolutely do not want, so I am going to have to sacrifice my vote and vote republican....

Sucks, but ya gotta do, what ya gotta do....

All ya need to do, is use the paper ballot, and write in the following for your choice as President:

Rick Cimorelli, the esteemed, good looking, and greatly loved and admired gentleman from New York.

Then when I win, I will appoint you to some post at the FCC or something :)

A vote for Rick is a vote for America.

A chicken in every pot and pot in every home. :D

so I am going to have to sacrifice my vote and vote republican....

No, you can write in Micky Mouse or something like that or you can go to the poll and just not select a presidential candidate.

Wouldn't it be interesting if we all went to the polls and just did not select a candidate? Would they finally get the message that there is nobody worth voting for?

Hmmm. Maybe I will vote for Rick.

Can I be the Secretary of Health and Human Services? Better yet, Homeland Security? Oh, wait a minute, the Secretary of the Treasury; I shut down the IRS.

Maybe it would, but for now, I have to take the anti Hillary route.....

Yeah... but ya know the special interests will vote anyhow. There's too much special interest influence in this country as it is. It has to be stopped and the only way it's gonna be stopped is when the voters decide to organize and do something about it.

To be honest, voter apathy is the worst thing that has ever happened to America. I'm guilty of it as well. I think most of us are. As the old saying goes, we get the government we deserve. :(

Remember when they had the first elections over there in Iraq? Over 90% of the populace came to the polls. They came despite death threats, bombing threats etc. They came anyhow. They were fed up with the old way and wanted a new way.

Look at the FUBAR (Fouled Up Beyond All Repair) Iraq has become. Our government is pouring billions of dollars into this war, most of it ending up in the pockets of contracting outfits who accumulate the wealth and milk the situation.

American manufacturing has lost three million jobs since 2000 and we haven't seen the last of it. The banking industry is steadily consolidating and eliminating thousands of jobs. Two of the Big Three automakers are in the process of closing plants in this country. Home forclosures are at a record high and will get worse. Wages have stagnated. The cost of basic necessities like electric service, fuel and groceries have tripled in cost over just a couple of years. Our elderly and retired citizens must choose between paying for electricity or heat in winter and paying for medical needs.

80% of the wealth in this country has been accumulated by less than 5% of the population and we continue to add new names to the millionaire roster every year.

Here in the most powerful, the most free nation on Earth, this is unsatisfactory. It doesn't have to be this way. We have got to organize and vote. We've got to demand the attention of our elected officials.

When only 30% of the populace votes, only 30% is represented. As things stand now, the wealthiest portion of America is represented.

Voting for a candidate that has no chance of winning would only be symbolic and yes, a wasted vote.

Now that leaves Rudy and Hillary. I think you answered your own question. Is there really a choice?

Besides, I think Hillary wants to gain control of the oval office so that she can engage in a little payback behind closed doors. Thing is, Monica's scent will forever linger in that place.:sqwink:

Rick you have my vote !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I agree with the "no choice" for election.

How many are running on each side??? Not a one that I want as a leader!

Pathetic.

We've done 3 parties for Mitt Romney so far this year. The last one was this past thursday. We did a sound set-up with 3 wireless mics.

It was held at a billionaires house (he's the #1 hedge fund guy in the country). The real big money is behind Mitt. He's a sleeper right now, but don't be surprised if he starts to move up as we get closer to election day.

I knew nothing about him until we started doing these parties. My Son and I were talking at breakfast this morning and we both agreed we would vote for him. Our thinking is a little warped, but we feel none of the candidates are really going to do much for us. However, if he becomes President we should end up with some nice celebration parties...LOL

Vote To Keep Johnny employeed... Now thats a good direction...

So who says that Hillary is the one to vote for?

It seems to me that the medial is ignoring some of the candidates just because they aren't glitzy and high rollers in Washington.

Wolf Blitzer practically ignored everyone other than Clinton, Obama , and Edwards in the last CNN debate.

Don't let the media pick your candidate by only presenting who they think should win.
You have Murdoch up there pushing Guliani at the republicans in all of his outlets.
We the people barely stand a chance.

Here are twuo guys that are flying under the radar and are both running for president. One is republican and one is democrat.

If I had to vote in oe party or the other, these are the guys I'd vote for.

I think Hillary is a joke and will sell out as soon as she is in office. Guliani would be disasterous for the nation and the world.

Please please whatever you do, don't throw in behind either of them.

Definitely get out and vote, but I'll say it again, before you do, educate yourself. Take the time to find out what these people are all about.

The candidates who get the most media face time are the ones with the largest war chests.

Example: DE Senator Joe Biden (D) is running for the seat in the White House. Biden is chair of the Senate Armed Services Committee or something like that. Yet, how many people outside of Delaware are aware of Biden's candidacy?

Biden doesn't have anywhere near the campaign funding that Billary and Obama do. He isn't paying the media moguls for face time.

Biden kicked ass in the last debate too.
