I have had an old 80's song in my mind and I can't find it anywhere. I played it in moderate rotation back in the bar scene around '85-'90. It is by the group called Doppelganger. The song is Communication Breakdown. No, it is not a remake of the Led Zeppelin classic. HELP ME PLEASE-its driving me crazy until I get a copy of it...thx

It was only released as a vinyl 12" I believe. It's out of print but I may have it in one of my old flight cases. I'll check.
I was into the "far left" club music back then. Groups like Front 242, Strawberry Switchblade, Cabaret Voltaire, Sigue Sigue Sputnik, etc. You know, household names...
Considered more underground style...thxWow...those are names I haven't heard about in years...damn...how about: "Join In The Chant" by Nitzer Ebb or "Natural One" by Folk Implosion!?!?!?!

I love all of those "oldies"! That is the music that needs to make a comeback. I would love to hit up a club with 12" classics with the likes of, bizarre love triangle, blue monday, don't go, love missle, close to the edit, etc.

I love it at weddings when I requests for Dead or Alive's "Brand New Lover"...and people of all ages dance to it...rather cool if you ask me. How about "Wild Weekend" by NRBQ??? Midnight Oil...Inxs...Soup Dragons even!
