My company had a battle last night. It was a lot of fun and a great way to get the guys together and get to know each other better. It was at the Roadhouse Grill that I spin on Wed & Fridays. We had 3 Coffins linked together. Here are some pics

We offer a 2 djs 4 actual turntables (with serato) party package for Fraternities and Sororieties <sp> and schools. btw we only take Frat and Sororiety parties if they've rented a venue never at the house.

Kevin are you sure he was early for the dj battle he looks more like hes dressed for a wedding..

thanks for sharing the battle I miss those days. Still battle my self challenging my mind for the next mix. The battles of my club days and one particular partner were memories I will never forget. Friendly battle will take a show to the unknown and beyond. I love it. Maestro/ Scottie ya wanna figure out a way to battle?

We have a wide variety of DJs. (From the top Pic going down)

1st is Danny, he came to us a year-ago as a hospitality intern from UCF. He had no experiance DJing and he has learned a lot in a year.

2nd is Jose he spins Latin/Old School Hip-Hop/ Freestyle.

3rd is Ryan he is a Club/house DJ.

4th is Jeff, he owns the company and is very diverse. He did some 80's and current hip-hop.

#5 is Sacha he is from Jamaica, and specializes in Reggae, Soca, R&B, Hip-hop & Gospel.

I am #6 I do a little of everything in this battle I tried to merge mid 90's hip-hop (Jump Around/ Let Me Clear My Throat) with current Hip-hop ( Stronger/ Ching-A-Ling).

#7 is Frank, he is from NY and has spun in clubs and Weddings for over 10 years.

#8 is Rick AKA DJ FLIP he is new to the company and is a club style DJ, AMAZING. He is friends with RoonieG and has a VERY similar style .

FLIP & Jose were the only ones that chose to Scratch. The rest of us did alot of beat-mixing and a few other effects.
There is one pic that has both myself and Sacha in it. You can see in that pic that we had 3 coffins; one with CDJ1000s (not sure what mixer), one with CDJ200s and a DJM600, and one with Denon DN-s1000s and a DJM500. everyone used CDs.

It was a lot of fun & we plan on making it a monthly tradition.

Dang, I thought this was going to be a thread about DJs and Mixed Martial Arts all battling it out in the octagon!:sqwink:

Thanks for sharing, I'm sure a good time was had by all. :)
