Hello everyone,
Newbie here with a very basic question, trying to put together something semi-fancy for my friends for New Year's. I have Donner Wireless receivers with one transmitter hooked to a Rockville DMX controller and a couple of lights, each one assigned to a different channel. First time using wireless (and... DMX). I have setup 2 receivers, 1 blue, 1 green, the thing is, only one works at the same time, the blue receiver works because the transmitter is in Blue, if I want the Green to work I have to press the button on the transmitter until I get Green, so the Green starts to work but then, the Blue stops working.... I thought I had to set each receiver to a different color... am I supposed to set all receivers to the same color and manage all my fixtures that way? I did this to connect both fixtures and both receivers work now, but I am wondering if I am doing something wrong......
Thank you all for your help.

Both receiver & sending unit need to all be the same color. This is a little challenging for me as I am a little color blind. :djsmug:
Been using my donner units for quite a few years & have had very good luck.

If you have more than one transmitter you can have that and it's corresponding receiver (or group of receivers) on a different channel. You might do this if you were using the Donner systems for bridging across areas you could not run cable. (Using the Donner to leap frog to the next point.)

Controller __________Fixture________Fixture__TX1 . . . . . . . . . RX1__Fixture___________Fixture__________Fixture__TX2 . . . . . . . . RX2__Fixture

You cannot have 2 transmitters operating on the same channel. They will cancel each other out.

The Donner and similar 2.4 Ghz systems typically require a line-of-sight setup to work effectively without error, so use them sparingly with that factor in mind.
