File Labelled Wrong

Anyone that uses a music subscription service such as Primecuts ever had a song labelled incorrectly? I found out the hard way this past Saturday. I was doing a wedding and the crowd requested Mo Bamba by Sheck Wes. This is really hot right now and released recently so I hadn't heard it enough. I cued it up and hit play. The guests' looks on their faces told me everything I needed to know. It was not the song listed or what they requested. I shazam'd the song and it came back something totally different.

Not just Prime Cuts... It happens with other music services too. I’ve had maybe 5 or 6 albums over the years where the titles of the songs were mixed up. It’s a PITA to fix, and the way it’s usually discovered is when you play a song and it ain’t the right one. I rarely play all the songs from an album before adding it to my library, so I’m sure there’s still some SURPRISES in there. Fortunately, I’ve listened to all the songs on my “most requested songs” list, so I know they’re good. It’s the off-the-wall stuff I’m unsure of.
 
I find the biggest issues are when I rip CDs. Most rippers pull data from online data sources .. and some of those have incorrect info .. especially for less popular discs.

The worst offender with incorrect titles and/or artists was Napster!
It was never an issue with being mis-labeled....
it was pure stupidity on the person who named the file.

Yes, but Prime cuts discovered it before I did and contacted subscribers almost immediately to warn and notify of corrective actions. (They sent links to download a corrected file.)

What service do you use?

My Primecuts version of Mo Bamba [Xtra Clean] is correct as is the PO Urban Club Sept 2018 Explicit version.

Mine is tagged properly, though the song SUCKS MAJOR butt ... talk about not being able to carry a tune ...

Of course it took 4; one to pay for the dope, one to go buy the dope, the third to supply the trap house and the fourth to stay sober and in the studio to do all th work that the quartet will take credit for...you know, the Drug Thug's work ethic.

Not my version. Sheck Wes - Mo Bamba [Xtra Clean] from PrimeCuts HP201835 is as tagged...and that is the only Sheck Wes song in the Primecuts inventory.
