Ok, I know I usually have better pics, but I didn't have time to make many. This wedding was off da hook! Anyway, I'm using a Mobile Beam system, 4 Wied Pars and an Abyss, fog machine and 4 Par 38s on a chaser on the backside of the dance floor.
floor was filled for around 4 hrs. straight? Good work!
key to night shots, (so i'm told) is use the night setting and a tripod. If you can set the timer and keep your hands off, use the slowest exposure setting, then snap.
You'll have crisp lights and background and blurry people.
Perfect~!
I don't really know what I'm talking about technically....ask ken or ballphoto
I too have been told slow shutter speed. My camera has a setting under the special category for 'fireworks' and it looks awesome! Glad to hear your event went well!
