how to project monogram with a laptop and projector?

I've been using dvd player that plays JPG's on loop, I just ordered the 23watt projector from chauvet, however i need to do a monogram this weekend and the dvd player decided to stop.

Help please.

To answer your question (in this thread):

1) Go to amazon and query "SD player"
2) A lot of newer projectors have a built-in USB slot that lets you use a thumbdrive to play pics. I believe Viewsonic has a long-throw projector with USB drive for about $350. Sorry, I don't remember the model, seems it was a 5000-series.

So what projector is he trying to use? Is he needing to make a transparency gobo?
