I just pulled the plug on a 6000.

I just bought a few minutes ago a Denon DN MC 6000 controller from Guitar Center for all together $321. It should be here sometime this week. Cosmetically it's not that good looking. As long as it works then I'm OK with it. I have a way to get it done for now playing for the seniors when it gets here.

At least I have 2 laptops, portable HD with my music on it, a corded mic and the wire to hook into the controller to the laptop. My spirit is way up from before. I'm no longer in the problem and working on the solution.

MK1 or MK2 version

Not sure the answer matters, to be honest. Both versions are 10 years old and considered obsolete at this point. The most recent drivers for the MC6000 were released in 2015.

I can get the drivers for either one.

Adrian , Pick up a nice set of 10 inch speakers that will get you by so as to save up for your bigger . You will be amazed at the sound modern day 10" can sound .

I'm not rebuilding. Work fine for your needs.
I use 4 each ElectroVoice er-2
1100 frequencies too scan.
2- handheld/ two lapel for outdoor ceremonies.
New, No less than $500.00 for one MIC, receiver.
Used Telex 25 years ago & both work as backup.

I hear you. My concern is that it's made by Gemini and the cost. Has anybody used that specific dual wireless mics?
