I have been asked 2 times in the last 2 months to do karaoke one of them will not book me, so maybe I will try it out. I have an old cd machine the kids used 10 years ago, I could come out to mixer and coax out to tv,,,,,,,I'm sure ther is a better way though!

What is the new thing. I saw some apps. How are y'all doing it if so!
I don't want to own any music. If I don't have to!

I have Mics and a 55" hd tv and a 42" also and a projector! Or,do,I just use an iPad?

I usually just use a laptop with an external monitor or TV. As for software/tracks, check out Karafun. Free k-software and they have an online rental option. For like $6, you can get access to their entire library for 2 days. The hot download seems to actually work very well.

Do y'all use a wifi during the show. Or use an air card or hot spot

I have an air card plugged into a router, but don't really use it. I have two computers sharing a keyboard and mouse, so they need to be on same network together, thus I bring my own network, but I could just as easily use a switch or connect them together with a USB cable. I got the router so I could have my own Internet connection if I wanted to. Right now, I don't want to.[emoji4]

Router is like this, only an older model...

I have ripped all my CDGs, so I do it all offline. The online places are a better bet if you don't do it a lot AND have WiFi or Cellular connectivity.

I second that. I've been using KaraFun for quite a while now with no issues. I use wi-fi or a hotspot. Worse case, I download their offline content.
