The Black eyed peas chose my custom DJ Booth for their Mobile BEP Lounge which is where they will be doing band Meet & Greets, and VIP partying.

I deliver tomorrow night here at the Atlanta Show. It's going to be used on all 40 dates here in the US.

I'm stoked..

Congrats!

Inquiring minds would like to know - how did you get connected with the band? Was this through a concert promoter, being in "the right place at the right time?"

For your facade, what is the material? Lycra/spandex or a plastic sheet?

LOng story short, they ordered some lights from 123 DJ.. 123 DJ dropped the ball. They googled lighting people in Atlanta, I came up, they saw photo examples of my work, called, and asked how much to buy one of my setups..

Then they asked if they could buy lights from me. I said no, but then referred them to Ben & NLFX. They bought some stuff from them, and I'm basically renting them my stuff till' theirs gets to them. The booth they're buying outright.

This one was slick. it uses frosted corrugated plastic.. Super lightweight, super cheap, and it wicks light like a pipe.. It's the best material I've ever found for glowing facades.
 
Thanks Steve. Can't think of a better partner to work with on this exciting project. Their lights are on the way to light up your facade in Miami. :)

I figured because she was from up there in Minnesota also, it would be a cool match to make, seeing as how they do Britney, The Peas, Jonas Bros, and other Huge tours....

I hear she's getting married in your home town Ben.. How coincidental!

What a great show By the way.. I was there from Load in until load out, with full access to everything.. The stage was incredible, and the catering food rocked, as well as meeting Ludacris, LMFAO, and actually hanging in the lounge with Taboo, Will, and APL from the peas for a while before the show.

It was so cool to see a concert of this magnitude from the other perspective..

The stage was all LED Curtain, so it was this super impressive video experience, and at the end of the show, it all rolled up, and was gone in an hour...
 
Steve, congrats. That is awsome. Having your both on the BEP tour is something special for sure. Nice Job!!!
