Some (Mary) asked for photos of the mirror ball mount I made to suspend my 16" mirror ball over my truss Tbar stand.

Nothing seems commercially available; I wanted the mirror ball above the center of the stand....

A visit to Home Depot; some shelf brackets, stock pieces of steel bar, bolts and some friggin' around...Here it is is....

Thank you - Can I contract you to make me one - I'm buying :) But seriously, can I contract you to make one!

Really, and might just be me but I think your on to something here! You ought to see about having that invention nipped and tucked then see if there is interested buyers out there! Nice invention Steve!

Mary - Honestly, I don't have the time.....Here's what I would do though....go to a local welding shop; they could weld you a bracket that would be 100x stronger (use a bit bigger stock square tubing).

The biggest issue you're going to have is devising a mount that witll bolt onto a T bar. I use a piece of truss on a T bar; the flat bottom of the bracket slides under the truss- I then tighten down the truss. With a T bar, your not going to be able to use an O clamp in the middle,

How I would modify this is extend the vertical back piece about 12"; that will allow for a clamp to secure it to the pole of your T bar...instead of the bottom piece coming "out" six inches, have it extend 3" , then weld a 12" piece of flat stock that would allow the mount to sit on top of the T bar. drill two holes at each end and corresponding holes in the T bar to secure it.

Thanks Steve - I will show the pics and directions to my neighbor. He is a welder and makes things all the time so I'm sure he will be able to come up with something for me. Once again, great invention and I think you should share your idea with someone who can move this invention forward. I do believe you could have a market for them!
