Mix .. Time to sell the Effects Unit .. There's a new Sheriff in Town

I finally had to post on this thread since it's about me. I may look into getting one of these for the business itself. I won't sell the one I got to get this. This is just a newer version of the old EFX 500. I don't see any isolator knobs on this one like the original. That's a big deal for me. Nice looking unit and what a nice price.
I just don't really see the need to buy this unit just because It's the latest thing on the market. Some like to jump at such things. Why do that if it really is not needed? That's like some will say once a speaker becomes so old it's time to replace them with something new. Why should you automatically do that if what you have sounds good and is working well for you? They keep coming up with new controllers all the time. That doesn't mean I should dump the controller I have just to get something else that just came out. I'm happy with the one I have. When and if it dies only then will I look to get another one.

The RMX-1000 has isolator knobs.
A question strikes me... you say you have a controller... but you're using an external FX processor? There isn't a single controller on the market with Send/Return that I'm aware of... not to mention most controllers can be mapped for Traktor which would give you better effects than most external units (more variety anyway.) How exactly are you using an external effects unit with a controller?
Mix .. it's wasn't about you .. it was for you .. you were all giddy when you got some money so you could buy the last version .. thought you might want to start saving the pennies again.
How is it I'll be saving pennies to sell the one I have to buy that one? Like I said I don't like the way that one doesn't have a built in isolator. Let someone else loose their mind over that one.
