No .. I have the EVOX 8 already. Just saw these in the new PSSL catalog and wasn't aware they were out.

I did listen the the other Avante speakers 2 years ago at DJ Expo and was very impressed with the value.

They have products that serve everyone from beginners to experts. It's not about who the ideal customer is - it's more like "what feature will make this product stand out when it's on display next to three others at similar price points"?

The product might not be for me, but if I was somebody looking for an entry-level compact line-array system, this would definitely be on my radar.

Not sure .. I have a little powered Behringer B208D I bought as a bar karaoke monitor (didn't want to spend much if someone was going to pour their drink on it). One of the worst sounding speakers out there .. even worse than my Alto, if you can believe that !! :)

I never had a big issue with the sound quality of the Behringer electronics (non speaker), though they certainly weren't as stellar as other better gear. My biggest issue has been build quality .. or more specifically, part quality. I think more knob shafts have broken on my Behringers than anything else.

The only pieces I still have (and use) are the little Sharks and the XR12 digital mixer (and the aforementioned craptastic monitor). .

Stop with the put down of Alto speakers. It depends on which model you buy. They have entry level speakers and they have some that are above that which don't sound all that bad for the price.

It's a running joke Mix. Nobody here is unclear on Alto speakers... but they're fun to make fun of.

There maybe someone from the country of Altonia, who might get offended😩! Those damn Altos, they come here legally,,,,and they start working fine at first,,,,but then they slack off. First their tweeter stop tweeting,,,,,then their are the woofers! Don’t get me started on their woofers...........
