Anybody ever think about bring one of these to the show,,,,just as courtesy to The Patrons?

I usually try to bring some charging station, and thinking about buying a 10 pack of short cords and I bet all 10 would be used!

At some shows for kids,,, I usually end up with a table full of phones anyway! And earrings too!

Having done a lot of sweet 16's, it is popular for the hosts to set up a "charging station". However, I personally wouldn't want to be the one responsible if something gets lost, stolen, or damaged because of a bad wire or something. Likewise, I've seen many of these wires get stolen by the end of the night, since everyone could use a spare charging wire. Great idea... but I don't think it should be your duty to implement.

I totally agree....end of the event...a phone is missing...who's at fault? Nope....CYB.

Easy solution... hire an armed security guard to stand guard over the charging station.[emoji1] After shooting the first guest attempting to steal a charging cable, I don't think you'd have to worry about others attempting to steal them.[emoji1]

I like your thinking!

Shooting guests,,,,,,hmmm. That would be an add on!

I'm not there to worry about your phone going dead or needing a charge. That's on you. They make car chargers. I have 2. One has 3 slots for say charging a phone or you can plug in say a GPS to have it work.

My job is to be the DJ. End of story.

I keep spare some and iPhone plugs. If someone needs a charge, I'll help. But I don't want extra equipment to bring along

That's a service that we were allowed to provide along with me DJing the event.
But you said "your job was to be the DJ ... END OF STORY" .. providing a charging station .. or lights .. or whatever is no different than offering recording.
