Need new headphones. Looking for recommendations...

I've been following this since I'm also looking for new cans. So far, in my totally unscientific survey, Sony 7506's have been mentioned the most in this thread.
Just bought mine - on sale today at Musicians Friend - $79.99 including shipping.

I used a pair of these Koss headphones during my years in radio. They were a bit heavy and expensive, but comfortable for constant use and very durable.

And anyone in radio knows, you gotta keep them away from other station jocks as they may use them...yuck.

The reson for the high price is that Dr. Dre used to own the company before selling it off. Just paying for the name and how famous he was or is.

The station I worked for had cheap, open-ear phones, and we were frequently getting feedback blasts in our ears, if we got too close to the microphone...

Wow, a company that actually stands behind their headphones and only $65.22 at walmart.

I have been through many $200 plus units. I'll have to give them a try! Thanks for the info.
