Rick - have you bought from these folks? Expreience with them? Quality?

Looking at a P&D set up (actually the 7'10" portable back drop x 2)....for my photo booth...

Thanks....

I like them a lot. It's the only place I go for P&D stuff. They ship quickly, the orders are correct and their stuff is high-quality.

What did you buy....did you go with the adjustable P &D or fixed? Banjo cloth or Premier?

I've gone thru most of the types they have. The 7-12 ft adjustable are 2" diameter. The baseplates won't stack with that size spindle. The 2-piece poles were best but honestly I've ditched all of it for my PB setups. I bought a $150 backdrop kit from a photography store and am using 3 of the 8' premium-quality drapes from EEI as a backdrop. I finally came to the conclusion that it was a waste trying to build a booth with automated camera. Guests pulling the P&D setup over, drunks can't comprehend what's on the screen, etc. I now have a PB tech who gives them directions, helps stage the shot, aims the camera and adjusts zoom. We're getting MUCH better shots now because of and our setup is easier/quicker.

Thanks - I bought a Lynch Booth - it's being shipped now....I want to oiffer 3 options; the Lynch booth with its smaller enclosures, an "open-air" concept and lastlt the P & D which will allow for a larger enclosed area. I will have an attendant ir two on site to assist with props and photo taking etc.

The one I bought has 1 1/2 " pipes that break apart for transport; the baseplates have slide-out spindles...

Yep, those will work great. Don't forget the adjustable crossbars. They have a 3'-6' crossbar but I don't think it's on their website. You have to call and ask for it.
