Hey guys (and gals), I'm a newbie on here and the business! I'm putting a small system together and want your thoughts/opinions on JBL, B-52, and Community speakers.

FWIW, I'm taking a hard look at (4) JBL Eon 1500s.
 
I would have to definitley put JBL and Community in a different class than B-52. They sound heads and tails better IMHO. The JBL JRX wasn't their finest moment, and frankly neither was Community's DnD series... but those are entry level series anyway.

What is your budget?

The JBL eons are not a good sounding speaker. The Yamaha S115V teamed up with a Yamaha P7000 amp will sound alot better then anything JBL has for the same price. Also QSC, RCF, FBT and Yorkville are making some awesome sounding speakers.
