Every "Thunderstruck" by ACDC I've heard drops the volume at about 29 seconds into the song. Does anyone know of a place or album where I can get this song where the volume doesn't change at this point? Thanks!

If you can't find an adequate one let me know I'll fix it up in the studio on the weekend and send it to you

Just listened to the version we play on air.
In fact the drums kick in at :29, so maybe you're finding a version that was edited to eliminate the volume spike.

ps
If you are opening versions from different sources,
they will ALL sound the same if they all have the same file name/title.

Yeah, I've never heard a volume drop either, but it sounds like a) the OP is listening to a specific, non-standard version [or possibly corrupted file?], or b) is just hearing a "volume drop" based on the apparent volume principle-- a single or solo'ed-out instrument will sound louder than a group of instruments together; an acoustic guitar and vocal track, if back-to-back with a mixed band track, will sound louder than the full band track ("apparently"... it's an audio-illusion, the VU meter might show no real difference, but the ear will hear a difference).

I didn't hear any volume drop in the version that I have either - maybe what you're hearing is the compression that your DJ software is adding? If you're using Virtual DJ, make sure that the compression is turned off - by default, it's enabled and can make a lot of music sound like garbage.

its made that way but you want to play around with great music well your problem!!
