Not trying to be funny but what size room was he using them in?I saw a friend use those tiny moving heads in action. I was not impressed with the size or brightness of the beam. I would not get them personally.

I understand you but most places won't allow you to use a fog machine.Small dance floor area of a local venue. They are useless without fog, I wouldn't even set them up without it.

Mix, What Steven is trying to tell you, The fixtures are useless!I understand you but most places won't allow you to use a fog machine.
Those lights were not made for a large room. They were designed for a small to medium sized room. Anything can break or stop working. It's all in how you take care of your gear. No you can't bang these lights all around and expect them to last. Even while transporting them. If I get a year or two out of them it will be worth what I paid for them. Not really .. I have a pair (had a pair, one died internally with a flash), but they got lots of positive comments. Not the brightest fixture, but they fit where the big bats don't.
They are ok for super small venues if properly DMX controlled as a plug and play he could have just thrown his $300 in the river and ended up with the same result give it two months they get broken or stolen and we'll get another story out of itMix, What Steven is trying to tell you, The fixtures are useless!
Where are the ones you bought and how do you like the ones you bought? They are ok for super small venues if properly DMX controlled as a plug and play he could have just thrown his $300 in the river and ended up with the same result give it two months they get broken or stolen and we'll get another story out of it
Thanks and now can you buy them for me? LOL. Don't anybody give me that crap about spending money on either I didn't need or shouldn't have bought. My friend was using four at his gig which is the absolute minimum for any kind of effect. Two Intimidator 255 IRC movers would give you a superior effect for $980 for the pair. Add the wireless remote for another twenty something dollars. You can do gyms with these movers yet they are small and lightweight.

I think you like to waste you money did you purchase and learn a way to DMX control your lighting yet??? That would be a better investmentThere is someone selling a pair of Chauvet 250 scanners. I just sent an email to see what his best price would be for the 2. For 1 he wants $120. What about the 2 for $200 your thoughts please?
Sorry I made a mistake. It's the American DJ scan 250 lights. What are your thoughts on those?I think you like to waste you money did you purchase and learn a way to DMX control your lighting yet??? That would be a better investment
