Sorry I haven't been around, but I'm staying at the inlaws for the time being and they don't have internet access.

I started my new day job last week. It's going great and I couldn't ask for a better company to work for.

My daughter started first grade this last Tuesday at her new school.

Oh yeah, I've had a couple of phenominal weddings at gorgeous venues.

I've been super lazy and didn't even take my camera to the 1st one, took it last weekend, but didn't even take it out of the case.

I'm just enjoying my last few events and apparantly I'm not the only one.
Jay,

You may be hearing from Amanda too, but I just wanted to email and say thank you so much for everything. You absolutely made our reception exactly what we wanted it to be. Everybody kept saying that they would be dancing and think...okay I'll take a break after this song, but that it was just impossible to get off the dance floor once you were out there. All of our guests honestly raved about what a great job you did, and Amanda and I could not have been happier. We will definitely be recommending you to everyone we know.

Thanks again.

I'll be around this weekend, and may even post some playlists if I can find time (we close on our house tomorrow and need to pack).

See Jay you cant bow out on this proffesion you have too much to throw away.

Maybe a year or so off and I'll get the bug.

It's funny, I haven't felt like going to the last few weddings (the same goes for this coming Saturday's wedding). But when I get there I have a BLAST!!!

I actually talked to Tom from A Plus Digital (MichiganDJ on here)
on my way to last Saturday's wedding. We both thought it would be fun to be in direct competition with the president of the Michigan ADJA (he's in the area I'm moving to). :sqwink:

I'm definitely gonna miss it, but I'm thinking some quality time with the family is just what the doctor ordered.
