DJ Ricky B: I have one Karaoke gig coming up. I haven't done a Karaoke gig in about seven years also. (It's not big around here.) I just want some of the popular songs at a good price. (Probably won't play another one for a while.)
I was going to suggest the same thing. Just buy the subscription. My friend used it and it was great.I'm waiting for the peanut gallery to chime in and say you shouldn't go with "Cheap" and you should be willing to spend the money on premium quality karaoke downloads! Cheap, and BEST supposedly never go together.
Does anybody know who would be the RCF, or BOSE, or Meyer of Karaoke Songs? 15 years ago I remember the hard core karaoke singers saying that Chartbuster usually made the best versions songs in karaoke format, and Sound Choice was usually pretty good.
As for your question...I honestly stream ALL of my karaoke music now because I only do MAYBE 1 karaoke event per year. It's more like 1 every other year for the last 7 years or so. I use KaraFun! However, there are other services such as SunFly, Red Karaoke, PCDJ Karaoke, Singa etc.
