Good Morning Folks,

Welcome to the new ODJT. We’re now running on XenForo! All of us will enjoy a much faster forum with a much fresher interface. The layout and overall is much more slicker and updated when compared to our previous software, vBulletin. XenForo is a relatively young software package and I’m excited to see what’s coming down the pipe.

The basic functionality is still the same things are just moved around a bit. Off the bat, the biggest changes you will probably notice are:
  • “Thanks” is now “Like”. All thanks were imported and converted to likes.
  • We nixed post counts and replaced them with likes received. Quality over quantity.
We dropped a few features with the move; The CMS and Blogs both of which were very rarely used. We’re going with a Wordpress front end in the coming months over on ODJT.com. User albums are deprecated; I’ve imported them into a forum for now. I’ll keep an eye for a photo gallery.

There isn’t yet an arcade available for XenForo. An arcade is under development. As soon as it’s available and has been tested the arcade will be back.

Aside from that redirects are in place your old bookmarks should land you in the correct place.

As with any major change over there will be issues. All the major stuff is done. If you’re able to post, please post any problems in this thread. If you’re having trouble logging in please contact us.

What’s Next?
In the coming months we’ll launch ODJT.com on a new server. Once the search engines catch up with our new links everything will move to ODJT.com.
 
Things to do:

Smiles - these have to done by hand will do as time permits.


Permissions for political forum
Stop ads from bumping up against Inbox and Alert bubbles.
Change fonts to Verdana - Partially complete
Change "Your Name or Email address" to "User Name"
Smilies
Possibly remove social junk - Staying
Move signature
Policy for Signature images
Add alternate styles
 
Looks great so far Dan. Do you have a Link to report Bugs or do we report them where we find them?

You can report them right in this thread. :)

All thanks have been converted to likes. You will see so and so like this post. I just liked your post.
 
But what if I want to thank someone, but I DON"T LIKE them ? :confused:
 
I see there's now an "unlike" .. we never had an "unthank".

Dan - Something tells me we need a "new user" policy .. whole lot of SPAMing going on this morning.
 
We should make some personal smileys whit our mugs on them.....

Yeah, not sure what's up with spam. The accounts so far are a couple weeks old and just started posting as soon as I turned on the board. I have some anti-spam tools ready to install. Good news is the new spam cleaner is 2 clicks to delete all messages and ban.
