2 questions about wedding photos from a wedding I attended last night

1. I have never seen this..... they didn't have a photo booth, but they had a wall with different themes with holes cut out in them like you see in amusement parks...... is that common anywhere near you? There was a pirate themed wall, a 1930's themed wall, and a somewhat wedding themed wall.

2. The photographer was telling people who used the wall that she would send them free copies of the pictures from the wall, but they would be watermarked. If they wanted photos without the watermark, they would have to buy them for $5 per photo ( digital image emailed to the buyer )..... Is that how it normally goes? ( or all 3 for $10 )
 
Last summer a number of the weddings I did had DIY "photobooths" which consisted of some sort of backdrop against a wall and some props. The most elaborate was sort of "Duck Dynasty"esque, redneckish with all the Duck Dynasty props (fakes beards, headbands, etc) but never like what you described. It's an interesting concept but I don't know how much people would care about the prints, tbh.
