Very Cool ..

I dunno about you guys but I can't say that I have any gear that consists of bare, blonde wood.

I don't anymore, either, but I did have some, that I eventually stained.... you would have seen the markings through the stain.

Good, now I can stop peeing on my stuff ;)

I had gobos made in the large TV scoop size and simply use them as templates for spray paint. It is faster and less costly than silk screening and does a fine job of attaching the exact logo and telephone number. I like it for identification and the benefit of easy lost & found response.

For smaller items and electronics - stickers do nicely. For cables, you can add custom imprinted shrink tubing at the ends, or slip a label under some clear shrink tubing.

now days with things I have started to buy small mini GPS locators - cheap and you can open up the unit and place them hidden inside

here you can buy them here

or just search ebay for ones to suit you

then if anything happens and gear gets taken, you can track it to within a meter(foot)

have as nice day :headbang:
