Just seeing it now I hope it worked out for you Eddie. Any other night of the week you probably wold have been bombarded with calls Saturdays there aren't too many here we are all out making people dance

The reception was separate from the wedding. I had gone over way early to setup and everything was peachy as usual. I go grab a shower, dinner & chill to get in the mental zone and return to the reception hall. I power everything back up & a hard static is blaring through all the speakers. I'm thinking interference of course from the venue somewhere so I start scouting things out because I've already sound checked my system earlier. Unplugged everything else on the venue; nothing. They had setup a photo booth across the room so I checked that; nothing. It was now about 20 min before guests were to arrive so I decided to send out the distress call. I decided to walk myself through setup 101 in my head & began to go through my setup again checking everything over. When I got to my laptops, I unplugged the Dell XPS & static went away. Shocked, but relieved I quickly changed it out for the the backup & all is well. It wasn't the Hum-X so I'm thinking it's in the cord/battery. Static through the Hum-X sounds strange doesn't it? Haven't had time to check into it yet. Always have backup laptops; I carry 3. Any thoughts???

You did not push it in deep enough. Even Lappys like it all the way in!
