Do either of you use the remote feature of it much? My question is if you have several lights on a truss or T-bar that have the IRC feature you really don't have much control over which light your pointing the remote at do you?

Yes thats what I was referring to. I have the Rotosphere Q3 and 2 Mini Kinta IRCs and they both respond to the remote when mounted on my t-bar. That's the only downfall to itYou mean if you have different models of Chauvet fixtures, say the 255 IRC and the Shocker 90 IRC that both use the IRC-6, will the remote trigger both, correct? I would say, most likely. I only have the 255 IRC's using the remote.
If it's an IRC remote, can always cover the receptor with a piece of GAF.
Then, depending on how it's laid out, could make a little set of blinders so that it would only receive the IR from directly in front instead of off to a side .. this way each fixture could be controlled separately. A small piece of 1" black PVC maybe 1/2" tall would probably do it.But the point is to be able to use the remote. You can use an RF remote controlled fixture at the same time without interference.
