Chauvet Storm RGX Vs American DJ Galaxian

I got a deal for the Chauvet Scorpion Storm RGX Laser Effect for 214.50 bucks, the store hasn't shipped it because it's out of stock, they will have it in about 2 weeks, if I don't want to wait that long they offered me the American Dj Galaxian instead for the same price .

I've read the specs and both lights offer the same, so would anyone has both of them, or see them both in action and tell your honest opinion about wich one is better for you?

The main differences I've noticed are:

Storm RGX coverage 110 degrees
Galaxian coverage 90 degrees

Storm RGX operating Voltage: Autoswitching 100V-240V
Galaxian operating RGX Voltage: user switchable on rear panel 115V or 230V

Storm RGX is Red aluminum case
Galaxian is plastic case

Both are 4 ch DMX
I've seen the demos of both units videos but see no difference.
 
I bought the Galaxian 3D today on impulse being that NLFX had a one day 25% off sale.

I also debated the two and wass leaning toward the Scorpion Storm RGX due to it's wider coverage pattern.

However, that red aluminum would really stand out like a sore thumb on my truss, as everything else is black.

So... on an impulse buy, I went with the Galaxian 3D.

I hope I made the right choice.

$114 for a laser is dirt cheap. If I had know, I would have bought two of them from your store for that price and had twice the laser show for what I just spent!!!!!!!!!!
 
I just bought a Galaxian. I have seen them both in store and the product videos and the only real difference I see is the Galaxian is a little brighter

I noticed it because they were side by side....Honestly in real world use I don't know if you would see a difference.

Again it was a small area I seen them in so I didn't notice a difference in dispersion but I think you would need a massive room to really notice that
