just a suggestion, but I believe all topics related to DJing, including equipment, should be free to be discussed in a DJ forum.
If someone violates the TOS, is rude, unprofessional or baiting, I can understand deleting a post, but closing a thread so NO ONE can discuss it doesn't make any sense to me.
If we are really closing threads because the point was made before, I would guess most threads should be closed pretty quickly.
It's bizarre that when one brand name is mentioned, it needs to get shoved to a "debate", private or closed.
Again, it shows people that "have no interest" in a brand name cannot help going into a thread about it and not only reading about this subject they have no interest in, but then need to comment on that same subject that they have no interest in. Some even complain that this subject they cannot stand is even being discussed. Really?
I do not read threads about subjects that I have no interest to me. But I firmly believe people that do have interest in that subject should be free to discuss it, even though i don't care about it. Even if it has been discussed before.
