This long thread of angst started by a 27 year old that thinks all DJs should use Serato. Why do DJs have such an overblown ego when it comes to mixing? It ain't rocket science.

This is the type of post that I mentioned Houston did.
As a group, we need to stop making posts like this and use the ,"Well, they are doing it, so I'm doing it back"
I've done it in the past too.
It's simply not professional.
I never said all Dj's should use Serato.. I give though.. yall don't want to mix.. don't need to mix.. won't mix.. not interested in learning.. gotcha.. Do what makes you all happy.. lol
That's all that matters in the end, really (oh and your clients too).

Yep! I want to apologize for my behavior in this thread... to all (Except Rick Ryan) lol Yes i'm 27 not sure that matters or not but hey.. I'm 27 do 75+ gigs a year. and Have a Nice Business going. Being younger than most of you.. is not a bad thing IMHO. I guess i have a headstart into the serious DJ business. I wish you all nothing but the best.. in your businesses. I am passionate about this business and sometimes that comes off as me being an Asshole lol. I am a nice guy.. and if its ever anything I can do to help any fellow Pro DJ I wouldn't hesistate to do so.
We rely on all types of DJs here .. from the apparently push-play (as Canute labels us) like me, to the apparently club level jocks like you.
And there is no shortage of egos on this board .. it kind of goes hand in hand with being successful.
Aside from the initial mud slingin, welcome to the best little spot out there, IMO. We all have our moments. Believe it or not, RR's a good fellow too.
