Finally the website is up and running!

The site has been changed again since i posted on here. I just want to know how to put a link on here when i'm posting something so others can just click on the link and see it?

Highlight the link in the address bar, ctrl-c to copy it and then ctrl-v in your post to paste the link. As long as there is a space at the front and back end of the link, it should be clickable directly.

Just sayin here ... for $600 you should be getting alot more and it should look alot better (regardless of what your last sites have looked like). I could have given you a WP site like mine for that amount. Stevie is great at many things, but site design isn't one of them.

Mix .. I agree .. This is a pretty rudimentary setup, with page formatting changing on each page (look at the left side menus - at least in Firefox). For $600, which should equate to 6-10 hours of work, it should have been a lot more polished.

My honest opinion is the design has went from bad to worse. I would ask for a partial refund and go with someone else who can set up a wordpress blog for you. I made a complete overhaul on my website to wordpress and its the best thing I could have done.

To be fair i didn't have a lot to give Steve. So did the best job he could with what i gave him. I definately need pictures of the new setup for thje site and more pictures of people at an event we did. Also more testimonials would help too.

I'm all for you to have a great site.....LOL if I could pick up two $600 website builds a month that would accept what I see with yours plus my current DJ work I'd be livin' on Easy St.

My site isn't "modern", however I wouldn't swap it for what you have currently. I'm just being honest. I've got nothing against Mr. Cie or you........however I wouldn't accept that work at a $600 pricetag.

Best,

Paul

I dont play games. It is plain CRAP. 600 BUCKS? You can setup a free Go Daddy site with turn key web site for using their service. 1And 1 has a 60 Dollar per year plan. You got Robbed. Next thing you know you will go buy an overpriced facade that when stored boards stick together removing the finish.

Mix, without giving your web designer much to work with, I don't think the your site is all that bad. The trick is having it show up on the first page when some does a google seach looking for a DJ in your area. Then you will see if the $600 was worth it. Be sure to ask people who contact you where they found you.

Just curious, was you site designer a DJ in your area ? And if so, what advantage would it be to him to promote you ?

You really don't need professional software to make a nice web site, you only need some basic design skills. Apparently, Steve's aren't in web design.

Once again he's changed the site again. He's been on here i know and have taken some advice from others on here. Now like most know i'm no expert at websites but this is the best by far. I love the bright red that hits you on the home page. It really wakes you up.

This version is much better ..
