We can talk hockey .. but Canada doesn't have any real hockey teams either ...
Wait .. Cleveland has a football team?
Boy???? Talk about REVISIONIST history![emoji1]... The same team in Cleveland that fired Paul Brown also fired Bill Belicheck after the 1995 season, and then moved to Baltimore (in 1996). So both were either fired by the Cleveland Browns, or both were fired by (what is now) the Baltimore Ravens.[emoji1]Yes they do. And let's be clear....the Cleveland Browns didn't fire Bill Belicheck. Thr Baltimore Ravens fired him.
We just fired Paul Brown, the other really successful coach.

If that's the way Clevelanders look at it, then that explains why they THINK they have a football team![emoji1]The way clevelanders look at it....Art Modell was the bafoon who fired both of them. He announced in October of 95 that he was leaving the next year. He tried to blame the city for financial mess he had put himself into, despite full houses at every game. Baltimore, desperate for a team, gave him a fantastic deal. They were no longer the Cleveland Browns after the last game of the season. They became the Baltimore Ravens. Then they fired Bill....and started playing in Baltimore the following year.
Even the windfall from the Baltimore deal couldn't help Modell. He was forced to sell the team within a few years after he moved to Baltimore.
